Lauren and Markie
Lauren Ash-Morgan, the Co-Artistic Director for the new theatre company Speech of Fire and served as the Artistic Director of Seoul Shakespeare Company (SSC) from 2014 until 2019. She had been an actor and board member of SSC from 2011. When she was the Artistic Director of SSC she also was the costume and set designer for the production, as well as composer/music director and text coach. Although she usually led from within the ensemble of actors during her last year, she was able to make her debut as director (and Lighting Designer) with the SSC's King Lear.
